‘Vintage/Handmade Jewelry Sale and Tea Event’

So excited to be participating in this event at the Community House in Birmingham on Saturday Feb 7, 2015! The event is in the ballroom and it is an absolutely gorgeous location. Looking forward to showcase my new picks that have just arrived from India. I guess it is normal to feel nervous but I think it’s going to be a great adrenaline rush to see the crowd and share the uniqueness of each piece with all who stop by. For more info on the location pls visit www.tchserves.org

See you there!

Trunk Show Success!

Thanks to all the beautiful ladies for coming out and making this event a success! Shopping with girls, good fun and great conversations make me want to host another one… really soon;)

Huge shout out to my friend Kshipra for volunteering to be the ‘Henna artist’ for the evening…paired really well with the upbeat Bollywood music and color drenched goodies! Kind of like a really quick, mini vaca in India…Sensory overload to say the least;)

My friends in Tianjin, China were of course missed terribly! Here’s to thinking global and buying local..Cheers!

Handmade Artisan Sign: Tribalfare gets official

It’s official! Tribalfare’s first artisan made sign is ready and what a gorgeous one it is.

Thanks to the brilliant craftsmanship of Michael Cullen, a local woodworking artist (now a friend) based in Trenton, Michigan. The sign is made out of reclaimed wood from Detroit and is stained to match the colors of the TF logo. The letters are hand cut with exceptional precision and saved to make another sign in the future. You can never have too much branding;)

I remember when he handed me the sign, I clapped my hands and said to him, ‘’ It looks so official, so professional!’

How perfect…a unique artisan made sign for a shop that carries unique artisan made products!

And there it is. The dream is slowly becoming a reality.
